Tv Apps For Your Smartphone

You can now watch TV on your Smartphone. There are lots of apps, both free and paid, that you can download to turn your Smartphone into a TV receiver. You can stream TV directly to your cell phone. I was a bit skeptical about watching the show on such a tiny screen, but my Droid X is really pretty good for this function. The viewing was amazingly sharp and had good sound.

The best apps really depend on your specific Smartphone. Of course there are apps for the Droids and apps for the iPhone, but there are even more distinctions than that. If you have an Android Smartphone, you need to make sure that your phone is capable of using Adobe Flash. Some of the HTC Smartphones dont have this capability (HTC Wildfire, HTC Desire HD). Many of the apps for the Androids require Wi-Fi or 4G, or are very slow. That being said, I only have 3G and didnt hook it up to a Wi-Fi to watch some shows on TV.com on my Droid X. It worked fine.

Why Do People Love Smartphones

My husband is all about the latest electronics. We have a drawer full of old cell phones, with all their related wires and cases, two old GPS devices, a number of iPods and MP3 players, and a laptop that rarely emerges from its expensive leather case.

Now I’ve discovered why people love smartphones so much. Although I was skeptical at first, I realized that finally I would be able to get rid of all this stuff! I can listen to music on my smart phone, access the internet and use it as a GPS device just by talking to it.

With the half million or so apps that are available I can also play my favorite games when I’m waiting in line at the supermarket or instead of falling asleep at the doctor’s office.
